Diesel/Gas Engine Silencers - SERIES E
The selection of the correct type of engine intake and exhaust silencer is determined by the type of engine, the end use of the engine, and the degree of silencing required.
Steam/Gas Vent Silencers - SERIES B
Selection of the correct silencer for a given application requires the solution of two problems. One problem involves sizing the silencer based on the gas flow data, while the other problem involves the selection of the most economical design to meet the specified noise criteria.
Rotary Blower Silencers - SERIES L, D/PD, D90
Intake silencers effectively reduce the noise and destructive low frequency pulsations that can be detrimental to surrounding equipment and personnel. Discharge Silencers are essential to a good system performance on all rotary blower systems. Combination intake and discharge silencers are designed into a single silencer, in which the blower and motor are mounted as an integral part of silencer.

Vacuum pumps are designed primarily to handle gas, such as air. Stoddard Silencers can furnish separator silencers in sizes required for all vacuum systems.
Centrifugal Compressor Silencers - SERIES C
The centrifugal compressor compresses air or gas due to the dynamic action of the rotating vanes or the impellers importing velocity and pressure to the compressible fluid. Effective treatment of the intake and discharge noise generated by the centrifugal compressors is accomplished through the use of low pressure-drop absorption-type silencers.
Fan Silencers - SERIES CF
Effective treatment of the intake and discharge noise generated by the blower fan is accomplished by using a high volume, low pressure drop, absorption type silencer which can control the noise as a unit.
We offer DE NOx systems for rich burn engines giving up to 98% NOx reduction (nitrogen oxide), Camet carbon monoxide systems for gas turbines with a number of patterns to choose from if pressure drop is an issue, and 3 way SCR systems (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for rich burn engines which reduce the emission of nitrogen oxide by more than 90%.
Air Intake Filter Silencers - SERIES F, F-64, F-65
Air intake filter and filter silencer requirements vary with installation locations and type of foreign matter being removed from the air. The series F-64 Air Intake Filter and Filter Silencer is designed to mount directly on the inlet of an engine, blower or compressor. The Series F-65 Filter is designed to mount directly in the air piping system for engines, blowers or compressors.
